We're continuing to refine the core productivity tools in FumoForge. This update focuses on making both the Table and Kanban views feel more fluid, reducing the friction of managing large-scale projects and complex task hierarchies.
🚀 Features & Subtask Power
Direct Subtask Management
You can now manage subtasks much faster from the Parent task view.
- Visible Assignees: The person assigned to a subtask is now clearly visible on the subtask list within the Parent task details.
- Inline Quick-Edit: You no longer need to open each subtask individually to make changes. Change Status, Priority, or the Assignee directly from the Parent task view with just a few clicks.
Universal Infinite Scroll
No more manual clicking to see more tasks!
- Table View: Tasks now load automatically as you scroll down the list.
- Kanban Board: Each status column now features its own independent infinite scroll. Browsing through hundreds of tasks is now a seamless experience.
🎨 UI/UX Refinements
- Quick Assign Popover: Managing team responsibilities is now lightning fast. Simply click on a user's avatar or username directly in the Table view to open the assignee selector.
- Polished Table Visuals: We've given the Table view a subtle facelift with enhanced hover states and a refined color palette for better contrast and a more modern feel.
🐛 Fixes & Reliability
- Mobile Task Creation: Fixed the layout of the "Create Task" modal for mobile devices. The dialog now scales properly to fit small screens, ensuring that all input fields and properties are easily accessible on the go.
- Mobile Feedback Enhancements: Hidden the "Take Photo" button in the Feedback dialog for mobile users. Since this specific method is not supported on mobile browsers, we've removed the button to prevent confusion and ensure a cleaner reporting experience.
- Subtask Assignee Visibility: Fixed a bug in the Table view where the assignee for subtasks was not being displayed correctly.
- Notifications Inbox Scroll: Fixed a bug where the Notifications Inbox was missing its scrollbar. You can now browse all your alerts smoothly.
- Scroll Position Memory: Fixed a minor issue where the scroll position could jump unexpectedly during data fetching.
- Avatar Loading: Optimized how user avatars are rendered in lists to prevent flickering during quick scrolls.
Architect's Note: This update bridges the gap between high-level project overview and granular task management. Being able to tweak subtasks directly from the parent view is a game-changer for project leads!
